"Thank you, Shannon!
When I was drowning in my overwhelming piles, you pulled me up into a lifeboat of systematized structure! "

Tip 27
Create "Kids Kitchen Stuff" Accessibility

Once kids start eating on their own, you can train them to get their own plates, cups, bowles and utensils. Design a drawer in the kitchen just for their stuff. The drawer (or basket) must be low enough for them to see or reach into. They can take our their own plate and put their own servingware away. A water dispenser that children can reach empowers them to help themselves. Therefore you have more time and less "Mommy, can I have a cup of water?" requests.
